Automotive Serviceman Level IV
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICEMAN LEVEL IV
Campaign Opens: August 31, 2010
Campaign Closes: September 13, 2010
Salary Range: $27.90 / $28.95 / $30.47
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or an equivalent, plus eight (8) years of proven recent work experience as a truck mechanic in heavy truck repairs and diagnostics. Experience with heavy vehicle hydraulic systems is also preferred. Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain an ASE Certified Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician Certificate in all seven categories: (1) T2 Diesel Engines; (2) T3 Drive Train; (3) T4 Brakes; (4) T5 Suspension and Steering; (5) T6 Electrical/Electronic Systems; (6) T7 Heating, Ventilation, A/C; and (7) T8 Preventive Maintenance Inspection. Courses other than ASE may be acceptable if deemed equivalent and appropriate by the Fleet Operations Supervisor. Must have and be able to maintain a valid Class A Arizona Commercial Drivers License and qualify as an ADOT driver. Must be able to work irregular hours as required to perform the responsibilities of the position. Occasional out-of-town travel will be required for vehicle purchases, inspection meetings, workshops and seminars that are specific to this position. Must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision or direction. Must be able to pass the necessary medical examinations for performing the duties of this position.
Primary Duties:
The AUTOMOTIVE SERVICEMAN IV works in an Auto Shop environment doing service work on vehicles, major and minor mechanical repairs to all equipment, fabricates equipment as needed, field repairs, obtains parts, fills out necessary paperwork, performs D.O.T. yearly inspections and may do functional supervisory work in the absence of the supervisor. Learns proper purchasing, invoice approval procedures, DOT laws and procedures, scheduling, various reports, etc. to fill in for the supervisor in his absence. He works mostly outside, so is exposed to the cold of winter and the heat of summer. He works around the fumes of vehicles, various chemicals, oils, fuels and solvents used in auto repair. At times, this job will be dirty and dusty. He must be able to climb up and down on equipment and work and lift in awkward positions.

Senior Purchasing Agent
SENIOR PURCHASING AGENT

Salary Range: $49,277 to $60,515 (commensurate with experience)
Require
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification or five (5) years of purchasing experience. Must possess the necessary computer skills to complete the job functions such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and will be expected to learn in short order, the company’s internal computer system the NISC IVUE. Must have, at a minimum, a basic understanding of electric distribution cooperative construction standards and requirements. Must also be familiar with Electric Distribution Utility Materials. Must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision, and work irregular hours as required to perform the responsibilities of the position. Out-of-town travel will be required from time-to-time for meetings, workshops and seminars specific to the position. The candidate for this position must maintain a valid Arizona State Drivers License and be able to pass the necessary medical examinations for performing the duties of the position.
Primary Duties:
He will work with and meet with current vendor contacts. He will prepare purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and schedule deliveries to meet the construction, maintenance, and operating needs of Trico. He will ensure that Trico has sufficient material to complete day to day activities and communicate any potential shortages due to supplier problems. He assists the Plant Accountant as needed in preparing completed work order tabulations and summaries to proper plant accounts and prepares inventories of completed work orders. He will report to the Manager, Finance and Administration bid lists, and other contractor information. His job is mostly in the office, but may have to assist with receiving material, inventories and control procedures. This may take him to the warehouse, yard and occasionally field environments which can be hot or cold, dusty and dirty, and may require lifting, stacking and bending, the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment, exposure to various solvents and chemicals in the products associated with line construction.
