In 2009, TRICO awarded six recipients grants totaling $40,000 to local non-profits providing food and basic needs to children. The groups receiving funds represent each of Trico’s service territories, from Marana in the Northwest, to Arivaca to Green Valley and Sahuarita, and aid children throughout Southern Arizona.
The 2009 POWER Grant recipients are:
- The Marana Unified School District, $8,160.
